One of 15 on Van Gelder with an extra suite of illustrations in red tipped in either before or after the original illustration (this marked HC) with fine watercolors by Lelong. From a total edition of 350. Inscribed by Colette to Louis Burtin and with a letter laid in stating: "It was given to my father after the war, a friend of his "Louis Burtin" knew Colette and to thank my father, he gave him this book. Louis Burtin was an attorney in Nancy...and was very involved in the French Resistance during the war, so was my father!" In a matching leather tipped slipcase.
