Before he edited New Signatures (1932), New Country (1933) and The Faber Book of Modern Verse (1936) he wrote this slim book of his own poetry. An interesting character, Roberts was a teacher of English, Mathematics, Chemistry, and Physics while working as an editor. This, his first published book, is quite scarce in commerce.
