José María Ignacio Luis Obispo Sotero Luis Gonzaga operated his press as Cástulo Luis Abadiano y Valdés from 1836-1854. He came from an important printer and bookseller family in Mexico, his grandfather was the printer and bookseller Manuel Antonio Valdés and his uncle Alejandro Valdés who was the Imperial printer around 1820.
