The second and best edition of this chronological history of Rome (one of the first in this order) based on the lists or fasti in which Ancient Rome's history was recorded. Earlier editions lacked the crucial commentary and the section on the etymology of Roman names (De nominibus Romanorum)leading Brunet to call the first edition "rare mais sans valeur"
