Full contemporary alum tawed pigskin over wooden boards. Remains of clasps, rolled with botanical designs. Wear to edges and spine, worm holes in covers and first few pages, largely in the margins, old notes to pastedown, missing front blank if there was one, light tide mark later in the volume for a number of pages near the end of the first volume and the final index page with a repaired tear to the bottom but apparently no loss to text. Title soiled, scattered stains and browning but generally bright and a finely printed edition. Interesting binder's waste from an earlier manuscript peaking out at the endpapers. CCCCXXVI, (22),XXXVIII, (2) leaves.
