Scarce book of decadent poems by Underwood, perhaps more well known as Hart Crane's confidant in the 1920s. Some of their letters were collected (with Underwood's name removed) in The Letter's of Hart Crane (1952) and later unexpurgated.
Long review cut and pasted to rear covers and endpaper "if he can give us no further books as perfect as this, no matter how slight, not only Washington, the town that holds him, but all who have our language should rejoice."
