The last of Kircher's works on Egypt - a colleague had discovered an intact tomb in Memphis and brought the contents back to France. He asked Kircher to translate the inscriptions and, in his inimitable fashion, he does so. Though he was uniformly incorrect in his translations, his connections between hieroglyphs and Coptic (rather than Greek, Latin, Hebrew) proved correct. Size: Folio. Quantity Available: 1.
