Original quarter leather over pebbled cloth, light shelf wear, old bookseller stamp to half title, signed by the editor. 29 plates of chateaus of the region, 2 engraved half titles, 5 fold out tables at rear and 2 small maps and a colored fold out map (creases and a small tear at edge).
