First edition of Clasen's work on the Sibylline oracles which also adds Sébastien Castellion and Onofrio Panvino's important 16th century works on the same topic. Clasen had a Lutheran but nebulous view of the oracles - he desired to retain the religiosity of the oracles, in order to retain the force of spirituality in general, without acting as if they were true.
