Four volumes bound in 6, published 1707-1720 (book one dated 1707, two dated 1719, three 1720 and 4 1709) - old calf, rebacked, hinges splitting but bindings still sound and attached by cords, surface marks and scarring to leather, wear at corners. Volume names penned to spines. An attractive edition of the Hebrew Bible translated into Greek beginning with genesis and ending with The Song of Songs. Occasional foxing and browning, but largely clean and with 25 engraved plates. Greek with commentary in Latin. The first octavo edition, published the same year and just after the Folio.
