19pp pamphlet issued by the Convention Nationale regarding the payment to soldiers defending France. Collot-D'Herbois was a playwright, actor and essayist who was a member of The Committee on Public Safety (Comites de Salut Public) during the reign of terror. An attempt was made on his life in 1794 around the time of a similar attempt on the life of Robespierre that enhanced his reputation immeasurably. Mild general soiling and foxing but legible and only shows light wear at edges. Undated cas. 1794.
