Postcard with history and recipes from Durgin Park (ca. 19060?) and a tall 32pp booklet, The Story of the Parker House, Boston's Most Famous Hotel (ca. 1950s).

Locke-Ober (1875), a classic gilded age French restaurant, and Durgin Park (1827) were two of the oldest restuarants in the US until closing in the last decade. The Parker House (opened 1855, moved to present location in 1927) is famed for the rolls, Boston cream pie, and for employing Ho Chi Minh, Malcolm X and others.
