Small 8vo, 3 3/4 x 5 1/2", bound in a reused vellum leaf, rear torn at bottom, inside rear with evidence of book plate removal, title page chipped and torn at top edge with loss to text on verso and recto but with woodcut of Romulus and Remus intact. Wear and chipping with loss at corner of first few pages, scattered minor stains, early underlining in red and black and a few marginal notes in an early hand; generally clean, with 8 full page woodcuts (plus the title page illustration). These cuts were much used in early 16h century editions of the Mirabilia, including in the 1516 Blado. 56 unnumbered leaves. OCLC shows 2 copies of an undated Blado edition (showing 1517-1521? as the date), 4 copies of a 1524 edition and one of the 1516. The 1516 and undated editions have the same pagination as the present edition. Graesse M536 (1530 ed.)
