Full contemporary vellum, worm holes to spine, some discoloration, but sound overall. Portrait frontis loose with old scribbles in the margins, mild foxing, scattered light dampstains in the outer margin, a bit heavier in a few spots, finger soiling in the margins here and there, heavier dampstains to last few index leaves - an attractive copy overall. Translated from the Latin of the 1589 edition, the second Italian edition, first published in Italian in 1611. In text illustrations: (10), 602, (19)pp.
