18th century sheep, worn, hinges cracked, binding still sound. Mild worming through first 70 or so leaves, touching letters but not really affecting sense, title stained, scattered mostly minor foxing and staining, Trimmed a little close, but not touching the text or running title. A nice little glossed Latin bible printed by the great Parisian printer Charlotte Guillard. Guillard had started working in printing with her first husband Berthold Rembolt, took over the press when he died in 1519 and continued running the press under the name of her second husband Claude Chevallon in 1520.
