Full contemporary vellum worn and browned with unattractive but effective repairs in white leather to the spine and one corner, external cords replaced, inner hinges strengthened, old catalog entries pasted to endpapers, small spot of biopredation to the lower right corner for the first 1/3, extending about 1/2" into the margin. A few stains in the gutter and lower right corner early on, but mostly clean and a nice, wide margined copy. x, (2), 296pp.
