Two parts in one volume, old worn calf, respined with new endpapers. xvi, xlviii, (xii), 193, 1, 192, 14, pp. With 32 folding plates and one table - plates 29 and 30 bound out of order. Foxed and browned, page edges a bit brittle, paper repair to leading edge of the title page, embossed library stamps to plates, some chipping to page edges, a few pencil marks to the text, offsetting from plates onto the facing pages. Plates attractive but mildly browned. A good, complete, if well used and aged, copy containing Mussenbroek's work on the pyrometer and other instruments. Size: Quarto (4to). Quantity Available: 1.
