I’m curious if you’re still receiving this spam. I’ve been in email contact with this guy and he claims he can’t find any of my @bellsouth.net email addresses. The inbound email address is blocked, I’ve had all aliases (supposedly) removed. But still I get it.
I can’t fathom this huge market for spammed huge construction equipment sales from, what is it? Singapore? to US market? It seems like such equipment would certainly be purchased here locally. Or if it came from overseas – would certainly come from more reputable (non-spamming) sources.
This guy has got to be a fricking idiot. He’s already admitted that it’s a scraped email list that cost him around $2000 to purchase. It’s not his customer list. It’s culled spam list from some scraper company.
So does anyone else want to chime in on this problem? I think not enough people are reporting it as spam, or else surely AT&T – Bellsouth.net would have blocked it completely by now.
I just looked through my spam box (at least my spam filter is now picking it up) and I got one just a couple days ago, so they’re still coming.
$2,000? That is too sad.
Which means it’s still being actually sent … costing your ISP or Mail Providers resources. He does seem to be responsive to emails though. Doesn’t seem to have a clue how to remove me though. I don’t know for sure, maybe he’s a victim as well. Maybe someone else is causing this … or there are bad guys which have swindled him into purchasing a bad email list.
I wish it were coming to my own server… at least I’d have more control and could get more of a trace on it. Unfortunately I don’t have that level of access (obviously) on Bellsouth.net.
I get them too. Ironically, this dude’s name is Fraz Crane. I wonder if that is short for Frazier.
