Sorry SuperNova; it’s definitely Rollins. His one outlet while growing up a military brat in the 70s was baseball — that’s how he got so into physical fitness. Marge Schott (the crazy Reds owner) made Rollins use makeup to cover up the tattoos when he played. He had already finished with Black Flag when he made the off-the-record move into professional baseball, and he could schedule his Rollins Band touring around baseball season. That card has got to be worth a fortune now.

Jeff, this is Danny Jackson.
I’m afraid to inform you that at this time Henry Rollins was hired as my body double during my addiction to cat paraphenalia, I thought no-one would ever find out.
I love that there are searches for “did henry rollins play for the reds” that end up back here again. I think the “loft” information was pushing it – best to keep it simple during a cover up.
That is not Henry Rollins. No Tattoos. Plus he never played pro ball. He was in Black Flag and The Rollins Band in the 90’s.
