boston used books, Pazzo

Pazzo Books is a general interest used bookstore in the Boston neighborhood of Roslindale run by brothers Brian and Tom Nealon and carries approximately 25,000 books in a wide variety of categories, conditions and scarcities. We specialize in fiction (classic, modern, and contemporary as well as new and used Graphic Novels), scholarly histories, and philosophy in the shop, but try to have something for nearly everyone. Our online offerings tend towards the rarer and more esoteric as well as broadening our in store offerings. We just got a skee-ball table and at 9 balls for a quarter, it's hard to lose (less than .03 per ball!!!). We also serve espresso, cafe au lait, hot chocolate and the occassional biscotti.

Pazzo Books opened in 2003. Brian had recently graduated from Rutgers University and Tom, previously variously employed, had arrived at loose ends. There was no better time to realize their love of books, ambivalent relationship to capitalism as well as their aversion to corporate america.

Pazzo Books is a member of Mariab.
and the World Book Market.

While we've been here we've had the good fortune to win some awards and be talked about now and then. You can read some of it here:

Left: Tom listens to the new Zappa album.

Right: Brian can also fit his entire fist in his mouth - just ask and he'll be happy to demonstrate.
